Description
Accurate, Consistent Pressing need Accurate Measurement
Aluminium is not the easiest metal to measure the temperature of with an IR thermometer. This can be effectively done by painting a small part of the side of the plate with some black poster paint, this enables the thermometer to accurately read the temperature. Once you have calibrated poster paint is easy to wipe off with a damp cloth. The point is to see how long after the press PID is showing the desired temperature that the plate is all at that temperature. The PID temperature is the temperature of the probe, so there is a lag until the whole plate reaches the temperature.
Rosin press calibration is essential for consistent efficient pressing.
- Wide Temperature Range: Measure an upgraded temperature range from -50°–380°C /-58°–716°F and get your result in 500 ms; The display also shows the maximum temperature of the surface being measured
- High Precision: 12:1 D:S, accurately measure targets from a distance; For the best accuracy, the distance between the thermometer and the object of measurement should be approximately 14.17 in
- Professional Mode: With an emissivity range of 0.1–1.0, ensure precise measurements across different surfaces and conditions; Adjust the emissivity by pressing and holding the Up and down buttons on the heat gun
- Versatile Design: Infrared technology allows you to measure the surface temperatures of various objects with temperatures above the boiling point and below the freezing point; make sure your plate are at the right temperature for your pressing needs.
- Additional Functions: Equipped with a backlit LCD screen and unit conversion function (°F/°C); Includes auto-off feature and low battery indicator to prevent accidental drain of battery life
- Not for Human: The EzRosin Thermometer is intended for use on inanimate objects only. Measuring the temperature of a human or animal is unsafe
- Storage Instructions: Store your EzRosin Thermometer in a ventilated or airtight environment at low temperatures. AVOID direct sunlight or direct source of heat
